The algorithm for obtaining residence permit

A residence permit is obtained on the base of working permit after registration of legal entity in Slovenia

Step 1: Registration of legal entity in Slovenia. The process of registration is simple and takes from 5 to 14 days.
It is important to turn to a qualified accountant after the registration of legal entity.

Step 2: Obtaining a working permit
Our partners will prepare all the documents needed for obtaining work permit.
 

Step 3: Our partners will prepare all the necessary documents to obtain residence permit. The application is handed in the consulate of the Republic of Slovenia in the country of living.

Step 4: Obtaining residence permit for the family members.

Registration of legal entity in Slovenia.

The following is needed for the procedure:

- Obtain Slovenian ID number

- Obtain Slovenian tax number for the founders and director
- To choose the name of the company and check it out of already existing
- To choose the composition of the founders and the director
- Choose types of economic activities
- To open temporary  bank account and deposit 7.500 Euro of founding capital
- To register the company in the court register
- To get a statistical identification code, put the company on the tax account and get a tax number of the company with the tax authorities

Temporary residence permit

Temporary residence permit is given for 1 to5 years. It allows to live permanently and to work in Slovenia, to use all the advantages of the resident of the EU such as: social services, and opportunity for the children to study in the best European schools and universities, travel around Europe without visas.

To get a temporary residence permit is possible on the basis of:
• Starting business and registering legal entity in Slovenia
• Be a director of Slovenian companies
• Work or study in Slovenia
• Doing a research work in the country
• If the spouse has residence permit or parents (for child underage)
If having all the necessary documents, resident permit can be received in the consulate of republic Slovenia in the country of living.

Permanent resident permit

The permanent residence permit is given after 5 years of living in Slovenia. Members of the family can obtain permanent residence permit after 2 years of having temporary residence.
After 10 years of living in Slovenia, the resident has a right to seek for Slovenian citizenship.
