Slovenia is on its way out of the crisis, which proves its credit rating

Fitch Ratings, one of the largest and most recognized rating agencies on the business world, raised up Rating on Slovenia's long-term foreign and local currency issuer default ratings from negative to stable. Fitch highlighted easing risks in the banking sector and improving access to market funding following the bank bailout last year as reasons for the improved outlook.

Slovenia's credit rating affirmed to BBB+. Its access to market funding has eased considerably and economy of the country is recovering faster than expected. It has upgraded its forecast for economic growth for 0,1 % for the year 2014.

Ultimately Slovenia has shown a lot of progress in implementation of the reforms, which is well reflected in credit ratings.

Despite of the successful resolution of the crisis and economic growth, prices for real estate in Slovenia are still falling by 5% each year.

The average price per square meter in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, is 2216 euro which is significantly less than before the crisis.

Many foreign investors are taking advantage of the situation by investing in real estate market of the country. The number of legal entities with foreign capital is growing each year. A lot of investors come from areas such as Russian Federation, Arabic countries and partly form Europe; many of them not only move their business in Slovenia and also live here.
