Slovenian delegation in Moscow and Domexpo 2013

Wednesday, 30 October 2013

For the second time this year our company has participated in the international real estate and investment exhibition DomExpo, which took place in Moscow’s exhibition hall Gostini Dvor. During the event we had a chance not only to present some of the most interesting investment projects of Slovenian market, but also to meet personally all, who is interested in the country itself and discussed the procedure of buying any kind of property there. Moreover a new issue of magazine “Real estate and investment Slovenia” has been published and you can look though its electronic version on our web page.
Besides the participation in the exhibition, we were a part of Slovenian business delegation, which had summoned 60 Slovenian companies of different economic activities, some can be already called active participants of Russian market, the others are just making their way through in integration there. One of the brightest events in the context of delegation surely was Slovenian-Russian investment forum, which took place in Rids Carlton hotel. 160 Russian and 60 Slovenian companies took part in it. Main purpose of the event was B2b meetings in search of new business partners from both sides.  It was opened by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Karl Erjavec and Minister of Communications of Russia Nikolay Nikiforov. In their opening address both ministers have highlighted the importance of the development of warm bilateral relations and strengthening economical and political ties between the two countries. The delegation was also invited to the conference, organized at the Russian chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was headed by the vice-president of the chamber Mr. Suren Vardanan, who, inter alia, offered all support in stimulation of economic co-operation between the countries. Besides participation in above-listed events, with great pleasure we carried out personal meetings with our partners in Russia.
All in all it would be fair to say that Slovenia and Russia still have wide range of opportunities for cooperation, which can be used for mutual benefit and both the delegation and the exhibition were another huge step towards its development.
