Construction of Emonika is set to commence in March!

Mendota Invest has recently obtained the necessary regulatory approvals to proceed with the construction of Emonika, an ambitious development that will encompass a diverse range of facilities. The project, slated to begin construction in March with an investment exceeding 350 million euros, is set to redefine the landscape along Dunajska, Masarykova, and Vilharjeva streets in the northern part of the Ljubljana Passenger Center site.

Emonika is poised to introduce 187 modern apartments and 35,000 square meters of cutting-edge office space, creating a vibrant and dynamic community space. Adding to the appeal, the development will house a sprawling 21,500-square-meter shopping center and two hotels. The first hotel, designed as a three-star establishment, will provide more than 180 rooms, while the second, a four-star-plus accommodation, will feature over 200 hotel rooms and apartments.

Notably, Emonika is committed to sustainability, as evidenced by its pursuit of the BREEAM certification. The visionary force behind the project is Mendota Invest, a company in the ownership of OTP, Hungary's largest banking group. It's crucial to emphasize that, despite simultaneous construction alongside the Ljubljana Passenger Center (PCL), these projects are distinct entities with separate investor bases.

The comprehensive completion of the Emonika project is expected by the end of 2026, promising not only a modern living and commercial space but also contributing significantly to the city's economic and infrastructural landscape.
